About the DPA GC 4099 (Guitar)

The DPA GC 4099 (Guitar) is DPA's clip for mounting the DPA 4099 instrument microphone on an acoustic guitar, as well as on mandolin, ukulele or dobro. Its gooseneck gives stable, repeatable positioning, and DPA designed the mount never to blemish or scratch the instrument's finish. Peak offers DPA GC 4099 (Guitar) rental in Madrid and across Spain for sound engineers, musicians and production companies, without having to buy the accessory for a one-off event.

What it is rented for

The clip is useful whenever you want to close-mic an acoustic guitar, mandolin, ukulele or dobro with a DPA 4099: concerts, club gigs, theatre, recording sessions or broadcasts. You squeeze its two clamp knobs to open it, fit it on the instrument and release; because the mic unclips and repositions easily, you can fine-tune its placement during soundcheck or move it to another instrument. If you also need the microphone, the catalogue lists the DPA 4099 DC and the DPA 4099 DC High SPL; ask what is included when requesting a quote.
