FOH is the mixing position from which the engineer controls what the audience hears. This category brings together Midas digital consoles and stage boxes. The Midas M32R is a compact console with 17 motorised faders and two AES50 ports, suited to concerts and events with many sources. It can be paired with the Midas DL16 (16 inputs, 8 outputs) or Midas DL32 (32 inputs, 16 outputs) stage boxes, which put the preamps on stage and send the signal to the desk over a single Cat5e cable of up to 100 m, with no analogue multicore. For lighter set-ups such as presentations, small bands or venues, the Midas MR18 is an 18-input rack-format digital mixer controlled from a tablet. How to choose? Count the channels you need (microphones, instruments, playback sources) and the monitor mixes, and consider the distance between stage and mix position. If in doubt, tell us about your event and we will prepare a quote. We also hire out sound systems and are the official Funktion-One distributor in Spain.
