About the Radial Twin-Iso (DC Isolador)

The Radial Twin-Iso (DC Isolador) is a passive two-channel line isolator built around Jensen transformers, designed to eliminate the hum and buzz caused by ground loops between line-level equipment. It is a useful tool for sound engineers and productions that need to solve a noise problem without colouring the signal. What it is rented for

According to Radial, the Twin-Iso is used to isolate two mixers, for example when an opening act's console feeds the headliner's console on tour, to isolate amp racks or other gear on a different circuit, or to remove noise from vintage studio equipment with poor grounding. Thomann highlights it especially for submixers. At concerts, festivals and live events it can help whenever ground-loop hum appears between line-level devices.
