About the Zoom H6 Essential
The Zoom H6 Essential is a portable six-track recorder that records in 32-bit float, so there is no need to set input gain. With four XLR/TRS combo inputs with +48 V phantom power and interchangeable mic capsules, it is a practical choice for technicians, production companies, musicians and organisers who need to capture several sources without setting up a studio. What it is rented for
Renting a Zoom H6 Essential makes sense when you need to record sound in a self-contained, portable way: live performances, rehearsals, conferences, presentations or interviews during an event. 32-bit float recording lets you work without setting input gain, which is handy when there is no time for level checks. It can also work as a USB audio interface with a computer and supports timecode with an optional Zoom adapter. If you needed more inputs or a specific capsule, our catalogue also lists the Zoom XYH-6e and EXH-6e capsules; ask what is included when you request a quote.
