About the Luke Absorber
The Luke Absorber is a decoupling platform for turntables that cuts vibration, feedback and low-frequency rumble when a deck sits close to subwoofers or on a floor that shakes. It is aimed at vinyl DJs, club booths and stage backline. Peak Entertainment offers Luke Absorber hire in Madrid and across Spain for €10 (ex VAT): the simplest way to avoid needle skipping at a one-off gig without buying an accessory you only need on specific dates.
What it is rented for
It goes under the turntable in club booths, venues, on stage, at events, in mobile DJ sets and in fixed installations where the deck is exposed to subwoofers or room resonances. According to the product listings, the milled recesses on top are made for the feet of the Technics SL-1200/1210 series, so it suits models from those series such as the Technics 1210 M5G, 1200 MK7 and 1200 M7L 50th Anniversary in our catalogue, and it also accepts other turntables and CD players. Pair it with an Allen & Heath Xone:92 or PlayDifferently Model 1 mixer and Ortofon Concorde cartridges.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire the Luke Absorber and what does it include?
Hiring the Luke Absorber costs €10 ex VAT. Each unit is for one turntable, so ask for two if you play on two decks. Email info@peaksound.es or WhatsApp +34 636 410 986 to confirm availability and get a quote for Madrid or anywhere in Spain.
Will it fit my turntable?
The recesses on the top are milled for the feet of the Technics SL-1200 and SL-1210 series, like the 1210 M5G, 1200 MK7 and 1200 M7L 50th Anniversary we hire. According to the product listings, it also accepts other turntables and CD players.
Does it really stop feedback and needle skipping?
According to the product listings, the foam dampers between the two birch panels absorb standing bass waves and vibration before they reach the deck, and the open construction is designed not to resonate between 50 and 450 Hz. It reduces these problems in booths exposed to subwoofers or vibrating floors.
