About the DPA 4099 DC High SPL

The DPA 4099 DC High SPL is a clip-on supercardioid condenser microphone in its high-SPL version, designed for close-miking powerful instruments such as drums, percussion or brass. It is aimed at live and studio sound engineers looking for a natural sound and strong rejection of everything playing around it. Peak Entertainment offers DPA 4099 DC High SPL rental in Madrid and works throughout Spain: ask us for a quote and availability.

What it is rented for

It suits concerts, tours and festivals as well as the studio, as a main or spot microphone. It clips onto the instrument, and its supercardioid pattern attenuates sound arriving from the sides and rear, which helps on loud stages. It is used on drums, percussion, brass, woodwind, acoustic strings and guitar or bass amps, and also in theatre and musicals. Our catalogue also lists DPA clips for drums, guitar or piano that might interest you; ask what is included when you request a quote.
