About the Crane Song Ibis
The Crane Song Ibis is a four-band stereo analogue equaliser built around discrete Class A circuitry, aimed at mastering and high-end mixing. Frequencies are selected in musical steps and a per-channel "color" control adds second- and third-harmonic content. Peak Entertainment offers Crane Song Ibis rental in Madrid and across Spain for studios, mastering sessions and productions that need a reference-grade processor for a project without buying one. What it is rented for
It is used in mastering and mixing sessions, live recordings and productions that want a clean analogue EQ with the option of adding harmonic colour to a single band or to the whole programme. From our catalogue it pairs well with the SSL Xlogic G Series Compressor for bus compression, the Avalon 737 SP as a channel preamp and compressor, the Mytek 8 x ADDA 192 converter to get in and out of the DAW, and the Barefoot Micro Main 27 monitors for accurate listening.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to rent the Crane Song Ibis?
The rental rate for the Crane Song Ibis is €120 excluding VAT. To check availability for your dates and get a quote, email info@peaksound.es or call/WhatsApp +34 636 410 986 (Mon–Fri 9–14 and 15–18). We rent in Madrid and across Spain.
What sets the Crane Song Ibis apart from other mastering EQs?
Its frequencies are labelled with musical notes, the filters are designed for a very clean sound, and the "color" function lets you move from a transparent EQ to one coloured by second- and third-harmonic content, on a single band or across the whole signal.
Why is the Crane Song Ibis so hard to find for hire?
It is a high-end equaliser from Crane Song (USA), a company whose owner and designer is Dave Hill. It listed at $4,500 ($8,000 for the mastering version) and is now shown as no longer available by dealers such as Vintage King, which is why it rarely turns up for rental.
