About the DPA 2015 OH

The DPA 2015 OH is a small-diaphragm condenser microphone with a wide cardioid pattern. DPA designed it as an overhead for ambient pickup of a drum kit or instrument groups. Its compact body keeps it discreet on stage. Peak Entertainment offers DPA 2015 OH rental in Madrid and works throughout Spain: a practical way to have a microphone of this calibre for a concert or a tour without having to buy one.

What it is rented for

According to DPA, the 2015 is intended for overhead ambient pickup of the drum kit and of instrument groups, and its small size makes it easy to place on a live stage without getting in the way. It therefore suits concerts, festivals and other live performances where a natural overall sound is wanted. If you need to mic the whole kit, you could complement it with other microphones from our catalogue, such as the DPA 2012 SD or the DPA 4055 Kick Drum.
