About the Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2

The Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 (CDJ-2000NXS2 in Pioneer DJ's own naming) is the professional DJ multi player Pioneer unveiled in 2016 as the flagship of the CDJ range, the one widely regarded as the industry standard in club booths. It has a 7-inch touchscreen, plays from USB, SD card and CD, and links up to four players over Pro DJ Link. Peak Entertainment offers Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2 hire in Madrid and across Spain for DJs, promoters, venues and production companies that need the format every artist already knows. It is also known as the CDJ-2000 Nexus 2 (NXS2).

What it is rented for

It is the usual player for club nights, festival stages, corporate events, private parties and artist riders. The classic set-up is two CDJ 2000 NXS2 linked over LAN to a Pioneer DJM 900 NXS2, the mixer from the same generation; if the rider asks for it, we also pair them with the Pioneer DJM A9, DJM V10 or the Allen & Heath Xone:92 and Xone:96. For hybrid vinyl and digital sets, add Technics 1200 MK7 turntables, and for the room, a Funktion-One system such as the Res 2 SH or F1201. If the artist insists on the current model, we also hire the Pioneer CDJ 3000.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to hire a Pioneer CDJ 2000 NXS2?

The hire price is €60 per unit, excluding VAT. For a complete booth (two players and a mixer), ask for a quote and availability at info@peaksound.es or on +34 636 410 986 (phone and WhatsApp), Monday to Friday 9-14 and 15-18.

Is the CDJ 2000 NXS2 still worth hiring now that the CDJ 3000 exists?

Yes. It belongs to the range clubs treat as the standard, reads rekordbox-prepared USB sticks and SD cards, and is the only one of the two with a CD drive: the CDJ 3000, released in late 2020, dropped it. If the rider demands the current model, we also hire the Pioneer CDJ 3000.

Can I link several CDJ 2000 NXS2 to the mixer?

Yes. Pro DJ Link connects up to four players or laptops with LAN cables to the mixer's LINK ports, sharing music from a single USB stick and enabling Beat Sync. If the mixer has only one LAN port, a network switch is needed, so mention it when you request a quote.
