About the Technics 1200 M7LE 50th Anniversary

The Technics 1200 M7LE 50th Anniversary (official model: SL-1200M7L) is the limited edition Technics released in 2022 to mark 50 years of the SL-1200, the direct-drive turntable that became the standard of club DJ booths. It keeps the core performance of the SL-1200MK7 and adds a gold tonearm, a numbered plate and seven colour finishes. It is a hard-to-find deck, which is why DJs, promoters and production companies turn to Technics 1200 M7LE 50th Anniversary hire in Madrid and across Spain for events, vinyl sets and showcases.

What it is rented for

This is the deck for vinyl sets at clubs, festivals, brand events and showcases where the booth is part of the picture: the gold tonearm and coloured finish stand out in photos and video. It is typically set up in pairs in the booth with a mixer such as the E&S DJR 400 FX, Rane MP2015 or PlayDifferently Model 1, or with an Allen & Heath Xone:92 or Pioneer DJM A9. Add Ortofon Concorde cartridges and Isonoe or Iso Stone isolators, and a Funktion One system for a full club sound. Ask us about availability and unit count.

Frequently asked questions

How much does it cost to hire the Technics 1200 M7LE 50th Anniversary?

The hire price is €60 excluding VAT. Request a quote and availability by email (info@peaksound.es), phone or WhatsApp (+34 636 410 986), giving the dates and venue of your event, in Madrid or anywhere in Spain.

How is it different from the Technics 1200 MK7?

It shares the SL-1200MK7's technical base (same torque, speeds and pitch range) but is a 2022 limited edition with a gold tonearm, a numbered '50th Anniversary' plate and seven colour finishes. If you only need a standard deck, we also hire the Technics 1200 MK7.

Why is this deck so hard to find?

It is a limited edition for the SL-1200 series' 50th anniversary: Technics flags it on its website as possibly out of stock and it is no longer listed by specialist retailers such as Thomann. Check availability with us and say how many units you need when requesting a quote.
