About the Roland TR-8
The Roland TR-8 is the AIRA-series drum machine that recreates the TR-808 and TR-909 with Roland's ACB (Analog Circuit Behavior) technology, built for performance with 16 pads, Scatter and USB audio. Roland now lists it as discontinued, so Roland TR-8 rental in Madrid is the practical way to get one on stage, into a hybrid DJ set or into a studio session. Peak Entertainment rents it in Madrid and across Spain: ask us for availability.
What it is rented for
It is a machine made to be played: 16 steps per bar with A/B variations, 16 kits of 11 instruments, tempo-synced Scatter and side chain on the external input. Use it on its own for a techno or house live set, slaved to MIDI clock alongside other gear, or as a USB interface sending each instrument to its own DAW track. From our catalogue it pairs with the Roland TR-909, SH-101 or Juno-106 and the Moog Subsequent 37, and in the booth with an Allen & Heath Xone:92 or PlayDifferently Model 1 on a Funktion-One system.

Frequently asked questions
How much does it cost to hire the Roland TR-8?
The Roland TR-8 rents for €90 per unit, VAT not included. Email info@peaksound.es or WhatsApp +34 636 410 986 with your dates and we will confirm availability and send a quote for Madrid or anywhere else in Spain.
Which sounds does the TR-8 have, and can they be expanded?
As standard it recreates the TR-808 and TR-909 in 16 kits. Roland's optional 7X7-TR8 expansion (software that is installed and authenticated on the unit) adds the 30 TR-707 and TR-727 sounds and, with the Ver.1.20 update, the TR-606 kit as well. Let us know if you need it.
Why hire a TR-8 instead of an original TR-909?
The original TR-909 came out in 1983 in a very short run (around 10,000 units) and is highly sought after second-hand; we rent that too. The TR-8 recreates the 808 and 909 in a 1.9 kg machine with USB and MIDI, built for live use.
